Live Table Games at Cascades Casino Penticton
Cascades Casino Penticton is located at 201-553 Vees Drive in Penticton, British Columbia. It runs a live table area that is worth checking in advance, because its schedule does not follow the overall casino opening hours. Timing actually shapes what kind of evening you will have here.
Live dealer tables operate Wednesday through Saturday from 4:30 PM and keep going into the late evening, then on Sundays they run from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM. On Mondays and Tuesdays the tables stay closed. You can still play slots and electronic games those days, but anyone coming mainly for live dealers will find the table section quiet.
The confirmed live games on offer are Kings Bounty Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Fast Action Poker, and roulette. These are fully staffed tables with in-person dealers, chips, and physical layouts - not electronic roulette stations, and not video poker machines. Kings Bounty Blackjack includes a specific side-bet setup, so it makes sense to read the posted rules and paytables for that variant before you put chips down.
| Game Title | Format |
|---|---|
| Kings Bounty Blackjack | Live dealer blackjack variant |
| Ultimate Texas Hold’em | Live dealer poker variant |
| Fast Action Poker | Live dealer poker format |
| Roulette | Live dealer roulette |
The rest of the casino stays open longer than the live tables. From Sunday through Thursday, general hours run from 10:00 AM until midnight, then on Fridays and Saturdays the property stays open until 2:00 AM. Slots and electronic games follow these broader hours, so they are active even when the live tables are shut. Think of the live tables as a narrower band of time inside the larger schedule.
Poker Events - What Runs Weekly
Poker at Cascades Penticton is set up around specific days. Regular poker sessions are scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Texas Hold’em tournaments are part of this weekly pattern rather than a short-term promotion, and different sessions can have their own structure and requirements. Because of that, pre-registration can be requested for certain events.
A quick call before heading out is actually useful here. The direct phone line is 250-487-1280. There is also an email contact at [email protected], which is handy if you want confirmation in writing, want to check buy-in levels, or see how seating is handled for that week. It is sensible to arrive about 15 minutes before the advertised start time; on-site registration and paperwork can eat a few of those minutes if you walk in at the last moment.
Guests should be ready to show proper identification. The legal gambling age in British Columbia is 19, and that rule covers all play on the floor, including poker tournaments and casual table sessions.
Planning a Visit - Practical Notes
There are a few simple habits that make a visit to the Penticton live casino floor go more smoothly:
- Call 250-487-1280 ahead of time and confirm the current live table hours.
- Ask if the specific game you want - roulette, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Fast Action Poker or Kings Bounty Blackjack - is actually on the schedule that day.
- Head to 201-553 Vees Drive, Penticton, BC V2A 8S3; parking is available on-site.
- Have government-issued photo ID ready at the entrance for age verification.
- Once inside, speak with floor staff in the table area to check seat availability, table limits, and minimum bets.
- For poker events in particular, contact the venue in advance, since some sessions require a pre-registration step.
There is one general rule of thumb that applies to almost any land-based property and fits Penticton as well: if you are going mainly for a single specific game, do not rely on an old schedule. Call or email first. Live table plans can shift, demand can move from one game to another, and it is frustrating - and avoidable - to arrive and discover that your preferred table is dark for the night.
